Privacy Policy

CoAgo ("we") is an app for families and small groups to keep track of when something was last done, who did it, and whether it is about time again. This policy explains what we collect when you use the CoAgo app and its web pages, how we use it, and how you can delete it.

What we collect

• Account: your name, a randomly generated @ID, and the email your sign-in provider shares (if any). CoAgo has no passwords.
• Sign in with Apple, Google or LINE: the code that identifies your account there, and the email, name and picture URL the provider returns. With Apple, we keep Apple's authorization token encrypted, only to revoke it with Apple when you delete your account.
• What you create: spaces, categories, items (name, interval, reminder time setting, photo, archived state) and every "done" record (time, note, photo, who recorded it).
• Sharing and friends: space members and their permissions, invitation links, friends, the nicknames you give them and your contact groups.
• Safety: the people you block and the reports you send (who or what, the reason, and a copy of the reported name, space contents or record at that time).
• Technical data: the server logs IP addresses, browser or device type, and the names and last use of signed-in devices, to keep the service running and secure.

Reminders are scheduled on your iPhone only; the server keeps just the reminder time setting. We do not collect location, contacts or advertising identifiers, and we use no third-party analytics or advertising tools.

How we use it

Only to provide CoAgo: signing in, syncing between your devices, sharing spaces with the people you choose, showing who did what and when, and keeping the service secure. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or track you across other apps or websites.

CoAgo is a record-keeping tool, not a medical tool. For items such as medicine it gives no advice about dosage, missed doses, stopping or interactions.

Who can see your data

• Space members: in a space you share, its members see its contents, its records, and your name and @ID. "My records" is only ever visible to you. CoAgo has no public spaces.
• Other people: others can find you by name, @ID or your full email address, to add you as a friend or member. Search results show only your name and @ID. Being friends shares nothing by itself.
• Service providers: our server is hosted by a cloud hosting provider; Apple, Google and LINE handle the sign-in you choose.
• We disclose data when required by law.

Tips (in-app purchases)

Apple handles the payment for tips. We do not receive your payment details, and our servers do not record tips.

Data on your iPhone

So that CoAgo works offline, your spaces, records and photos are kept on your iPhone. They are removed when you delete the app; when someone else signs in on the same iPhone, the previous person's data is cleared first.

Keeping and deleting data

• Data is kept until you delete it. You can delete your account in the app under Me → Delete account. If a shared space you own still has other members, hand it over first (to a member, or by leaving and choosing someone with “Edit & record” to take over).
• Deleting your account deletes "My records", spaces only you are in, your memberships in other spaces, your friends, nicknames, contact groups, blocks and sign-in methods, and revokes Sign in with Apple. Records you made in other people's spaces stay, without your name.
• If you cannot use the app, write to us to ask for deletion.
• Deleted records are kept as deletion markers for a while (180 days by default) so your other devices learn about them, then removed for good. Data in backups and technical logs is overwritten or deleted after a limited time.
• Reports are kept so we can review them and keep CoAgo safe, even if the accounts involved are deleted later.

Security

All connections between the app and the server use HTTPS. Every request is checked for permission on the server; photos are only served after a permission check and are never stored publicly.

Children

CoAgo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Your rights

You can change your name, delete content or delete your account in the app at any time. To get, correct or delete other data, contact us.

If this policy changes significantly, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
